Kgosithabile Komsana, an energetic, enthusiastic and passionate young man who lives with his mom and siblings in Johannesburg. He is determined to be the best he can be and is ready to give 110% commitment to working towards his certification. He plays a leadership role in his community and encourages all young people to work and commit towards their dreams.
Let's hear from Kgosi on how he is doing at college
"Everyone has their own vision and idea of how the college/varsity life is like, the reality is it’s not how we see it from movies.
College life is challenging and requires someone to be disciplined and focused. In the beginning it was all fun and exciting (not that it isn’t now) but as time goes it starts requiring dedication and direction. I am confident in saying that as long as I stick to a planned, organized and well controlled time managed life, all will fall into place. I am greatly to the people who made this all possible and fortunate to have good mentors that kept good check on what’s happening.
In conclusion I’d say it’s challenging, seeks independence and focus.
Regards

Ms Tidimalo Mokgatle
Financial Support - Secretary.It
Susan Engelbrecht will be mentoring Tidimalo this academic year
Tidimalo Mokgatle, is a beautiful spirited 20-year old young woman who resides in the West of Johannesburg in a township known as Kagiso. She lives with her mother, younger sister and nephew. A quietly spoken, yet confident young woman Tidimalo hopes to inspire, motivate and encourage other young people to seek in ensuring a good education, and to take the responsibility that comes with it to work hard, persevere and to never give up, no matter how challenging the circumstances may get, because as Tidimalo quotes “at the end of the day it’s all about you. I'm not a quitter and I'm not a failure therefore I will always win. It all begins with me.”
We asked Tidimalo to tell us how college is going and this is what she had to say:
"My first few months at Rosebank College have been so wonderful. Firstly, I have managed to grow as an individual. The environment around the college is very welcoming and very accomodative. My goal is to obtain good marks in all my modules, to learn more about the administrative field holistically so that I can be able to be successful in my career as an administrator. I have taken a great pleasure in being more cautious in my style of learning so I can acquire more knowledge.

Li-Ann Meyer will be her mentor in this final year of her BBA Degree
When we interviewed this tenacious and dedicated young lady we, her story touched us all, and everyone in the room was astounded by this young woman’s’ story and determination. She has already completed 2 years of her Business Administration Degree, and has managed to pass reasonably well... with no text books! Her father could not afford to pay for books and tuition. Our hearts were touched by her commitment to achieve and we knew immediately that she is a strong contender for a bursary. Charlotte is an amazing young lady. Her perseverance and positivity is astounding.
She lives with her dad and four siblings but during the university semester, she stays with her uncle in Pretoria, South Africa. Charlotte’s aspirations are for the year ahead is to pass focus on completing her degree with distinction, find a holiday job to gain experience, to live a healthy and fulfilled life so that she can give back to society and encourage young people to work hard in order to pursue their dreams.
Let's hear what Charlotte has to say about her journey and your aspirations:
"Hi! My name is Charlotte. I’m 23 and I live in Pretoria but originally from Limpopo. I am student at Rosebank College, studying Bachelor of Businesses Administration degree. I would like to start by saying thank you to Isipho for choosing me to be their student, they have made my life better.
My first and second year at Rosebank College it wasn’t easy because I had no textbooks, no laptop and always had stress of outstanding fees but I just kept going and trying my best academically. This year I am currently doing my 3rd year and Isipho family provided everything that I need for my studies.
At this moment tertiary is good but very challenging, having studying material everything is easy for me, I am able complete my assignments and having access for additional study material lectures provide for us. School is challenging most of the time when it comes to writing test and exams, is the part that stress every student. So far I am enjoying and Anel Martin also helping with my school work, at this moment she motivates me to get everything done.
My goals:
All I want is to succeed and also help those who are in need, I believe everyone has purpose in life.
